About the Company


GfK Ukraine (the Russian/Ukrainian spelling of the name: ÃÔÊ Þêðåéí) is one of the leading Ukrainian companies, offering a comprehensive set of marketing research services in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova.

The starting point of the GfK Ukraine company is 5 July 1995 — the registration date of the company USM - Ukrainian Surveys and Market research. At that time, there were only six people working in the company!

In 1997, proficient management and enthusiasm of the USM staff was rewarded with a considerable increase in the number of research orders and greatly expanded the client base: the company executed 117 contracts for more than 40 clients. The USM company earned the leader status of the Ukrainian research market, while the number of its employees exceeded 35 persons. In business circles of that time USM became the biggest and most successful Ukrainian research company.

At that time, USM successfully cooperated with the company Fessel GfK: in 1998, brand trackings were conducted for Coca Cola, ATS trackings for Kraft Foods, as well as other serious projects. Thanks to this cooperation, when Fessel GfK decided to establish it representative office in Ukraine, as its basis Fessel chose its most prospective partner in Ukraine – USM company. Thus, in October 1998 GfK-USM was born. Starting from February, 2006, the company changed its name to GfK Ukraine and is now a GfK legitimate representative in Ukraine.

GfK Ukraine is part of the international research network GfK Group, uniting over 115 companies in 90 countries of Europe, the USA, Canada, Japan, China, Australia, etc. The GfK Group is the No. 4 market research organization worldwide. Its activities cover five business divisions Custom Research, Retail and Technology, Consumer Tracking, Media and HealthCare.
