Market of telecommunication services
Research objectives
The present research is aimed at getting regular and efficient information about the state of the market of telecommunication services for individuals.
Research approach
- Monthly survey of 1000 respondents aged 18 years and over throughout Ukraine
- Route sample, quota by age, sex, region and settlement size
- Annual sample includes all Ukrainian cities with population over 50,000
- The survey involves the method of face-to-face interview at respondents home
Survey structure (monthly; 11 waves in 2007)
- Usage and expenses for conventional telephony;
- Mobile communication
- Usage and expenses for mobile communication;
- Positions of mobile operators (starting from May);
- Intentions to launch mobile communications;
- Internet
- Internet usage, frequency and objectives of Internet usage;
- Expenses for home Internet;
- Intentions to start using Internet;
- Usage of cable television (starting from May).
Research outputs:
- Analytical research report in PowerPoint;
- Data distribution tables in Excel by such parameters as age, sex, education, occupation, living standards, residing region, settlement size;
- Data in tracking software DataViewer and in SPSS;
- Research report presentation in Kyiv (if required).
Research results are delivered twice a year. Report for the first half of the year is based on data collected in February-June (5000 interviews); report for the second half of the year on data collected in July – December (6000 interviews).
All research outputs are delivered in electronic format in Ukrainian.
Cost
- Price of annual data package for 2007 year – 12 000 UAH (VAT incl.), if payment is effected from Ukraine or 2000 EUR, if payment is made from abroad.
- Price of semi-annual data package – 8 000 UAH (VAT incl.), if payment is effected from Ukraine or 1350 EUR, if payment is made from abroad.
