Lviv businessmen looked into the values of their city-dwellers

05/10/2007

Loyalty to Lviv is high but satisfaction with the current affairs in the city is far lower. Thus, the emotional attachment to the city is far higher than the rational one. Lviv residents are most satisfied with the cultural environment and educational institutions, while utility tariffs, corruption level and roads unleash the biggest criticism. Typically, Lviv people are oriented on studies, work, and career. They are law-abiding, non-conformist and independent. At the same time, they tend to be of the opinion that all is to be provided and controlled by the state, and are often unreceptive to unusual things and intolerant. These are the results revealed by the new research «Lviv population values study» run by GfK Ukraine and commissioned by the Entrepreneurs Committee of Lviv Region
