Younger people hit hardest by crisis

As a result of the economic situation and the sharp rise of the dollar exchange rate, Ukrainian borrowers could become insolvent. Those hardest hit by the economic crisis are younger Ukrainians of the 30-39 year age group, among which there is the largest share of long-term loans for cars and mortgages (5%). With this in mind, the National Bank of Ukraine must provide support to citizens and firms holding long-term loans, and not only the commercial banks.
